Bhumima: an export trade website with a catalogue run from the dashboard

A trade website for Bhumima, a new merchant exporter in Nashik: five product lines, a path for each kind of buyer, and a product catalogue the owner changes from the WordPress dashboard.

    • Client: Bhumima (an Emberoot partner brand)
    • Live at: trade.bhumima.com
    • Timeline: November 2026
    • Services used: Websites, Strategy

    The challenge

Bhumima sells to business buyers abroad: food makers, importers, packaging buyers and textile retailers. The site had to look credible from the first visit without claiming shipments or approvals the business does not have yet, and the product range was still changing. Every enquiry needed to land somewhere the owner could follow up.

    What we did

    • Built on WordPress with the free Elementor builder and the Hello Elementor theme, plus one custom plugin, so updates to other software never overwrite the design.
    • A look taken from the logo greens, with light and dark modes, keyboard-friendly menus and tabs, and reduced motion for visitors who ask for it.
    • Paths by type of buyer and a filterable product catalogue. Products, buyer types and categories are edited in the dashboard, and each product page is created, renamed or hidden automatically.
    • A quotation form that asks what the buyer needs (a quotation, samples or both), saves every request with a status, private notes and a CSV download, and sends the buyer a confirmation email.
    • A “Print or save as PDF” product sheet, an optional WhatsApp button and a branded “Page not found” page.
    • Search and AI readiness: page titles and descriptions, a share image, breadcrumb data, Search Console through Site Kit, a Markdown copy of every page and an llms.txt index.
    • Security built in: a hidden sign-in address, a captcha that needs no outside service, login limits and security headers. Analytics wait behind a cookie banner.

    The result

The site went live on its own domain on 1 November 2026. All 18 pages were checked on phones and desktops, signed out, before launch. The owner now adds or hides a product in a minute, and every quotation request arrives by email and stays in the dashboard until it is answered.
