Ember Wire is the news desk on the Emberoot website. It covers the changes that land on a founder’s desk, wherever they are: new rules and compliance dates, interest rates and payment fees, AI models and their prices, and policy shifts at Google, Meta, Apple and WhatsApp.
What a brief looks like
Each brief says what happened and when, what changes, what it means for a small or growing business, and what to do now. They are short on purpose. Our longer guides stay in Insights.
How we source
- Every brief links to the government notice, regulator release or company announcement behind it, or to an established news outlet when no primary text is public yet.
- We give the date of the development in the first paragraph, so you can tell how fresh it is.
- Where a rule is still being finalised, we say so and tell you to check the current text.
- If we get something wrong, we correct the brief and add a note at the end saying what changed.
The desks
World and economy covers the global economy, trade and central banks. Policy and regulation covers laws, tax and compliance. Money and markets covers rates, funding, listings and payments. Tech and AI covers models, compute and infrastructure. Platforms and ads covers the platforms you use to reach customers. Studio news is where we share what is happening at Emberoot and our partner brands.
Nothing on Ember Wire is legal, tax or investment advice. If a change affects your business, talk to your adviser, or book a call with us if it touches your product, website or systems.
